Dmitriy Fisch

Classically trained in violin, Dmitriy was born and raised in Russia. After moving to the United States, he earned his music degree from the Manhattan School of Music (studying with legendary Albert Markov). In New York Dmitriy performed in numerous orchestras including Manhattan Philharmonia, Manhattan Chamber Sinfonia, and Brooklyn Symphony. He also has been 1st violin with the Mozart String Quartet, the Manhattan Virtuosi Quartet and the Le Stagioni String Quartet. While maintaining his classical career, Dmitriy also performed jazz throughout New York clubs, a passion of his since early childhood. He developed his own unique energizing swinging style of playing jazz violin. In 2004 Dmitriy joined Gypsy Swing Revue and now he resides in Denver, Colorado.
